Impression Obsession week: day four

hi,
Neil's turn today with his 12 x 12 colourful calendar. He too used one of the Cover-a-Card stamp. I think they are everyone's favourites...
Here's how Neil made his calendar.

The leaf stamp was done across the page and roughly covered.
The background stamp was coloured with Chipped Sapphire, Wild Honey, Broken China and pumice stone distress inks and spritzed with water. I then stamped the image repeatedly until the page was covered. I repeated those steps with the geologic cover-a-card stamp and coloured the leaves with Copic markers.
The month was written onto a chipboard banner from Tando Creative.
Inka gold paste adds some shine to the banner and edges.

Inka gold paste- old silver (909)
Copics in V15, BG49, B45, Y15 and YG63

Thank you Neil :)

See you tomorrow

  1. This is so different Neil! Thank you or the inspiration. I love the idea of just using numbered squares for calendar dates...there's me trying to find something that would print off the computer for free! Nice one :O)
