We have got a super cool project for you today: a storage box to store your copics and other markers...
This is definitely something I was looking forward to reading when Isabelle Juin mentioned it to me... Something I can definitely see myself doing.
All you need is cardboard, PVA glue, framing brown tape, paint and varnish... And you can, as Isabelle did, add a bit or gold embossing depending on the finish you want.
So here's how you can do it...
If you ever make one for yourself, don't forget to show us!!
Does this looks familiar?
How about turning it into THIS?
Here's how you can make this box

Once painted, your blox will look like this

Isabelle wanted a elegant finish, so she stamped the Katzelkraft image with Versamark ink, and embossed with Gold embossing powder.
She then applied a couple of coats of the Decopatch PaperPatch and then a couple of coats of Aquapro Varnish which is more of a laquer.
Et voilà, beautiful shelves for your markers...
So? What do you think?
Let us know in a comment below...
Looking forward to reading your comments
See you soon
Isa

This looks like a great storage idea....so easy to see the colours.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I shall definitely have a go at this as soon as I can, much tidier than my current storage system.

Wow, isn't this brilliant! Jo x
ReplyDeletePerfect timing with this great storage idea, i'm in the middle of a big tidy up and was wondering what to do with the clutter of pens taking up loads of work space. This is going to be perfect and looks so much neater.
ReplyDeleteVery flashy! Nice.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great box! :) I'm storing my copics in very similar way, although my box isn't that beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this wonderful idea:)
Smiles,
Gery
Classy ! for what ever you want to put in it :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Thanks for sharing this.. Need something to store my distress inks in and this will do the job perfectly - thank you x
ReplyDeleteA brilliant idea x
ReplyDeleteThis looks fab. My pens are already in drawers, I'm a real organised crafter, everything has to be stored and tidy. I put all my stash away at the end of the day so my desk is clear for the next day.I could do with some better storage for my stamps though, rather than piled in drawers.

Mine will be for my copics .

Well that's the box sorted. Now I just need some kind soul to donate me the copics and I will be grinning like a cheshire cat!
